SBS Kits for Dual-Indexed Sequencing

HiSeq SBS kits contain a sufficient volume of reagents for performing dual-indexed runs:

  • 300-cycle SBS kit—Up to 325 sequencing cycles
  • 150-cycle SBS kit—Up to 174 sequencing cycles
  • 50-cycle SBS kit—Up to 74 sequencing cycles. Use multiple 50-cycle kits for runs greater than the maximum number of cycles in a kit.

The following table lists the number of cycles performed for dual-indexed paired-end runs of various lengths. Run cycles comprise several sequencing cycles based on run length and 2 index reads of 8 cycles each. For dual-indexed single-read runs, 7 chemistry-only cycles are calculated in the total number of cycles.
